Foreign ministry stresses importance of halting aggression against Gaza
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Friday, stressed the importance of halting the aggression against the Gaza strip.
The ministry called on the international community to immediately halt the escalation and provide protection for the brotherly Palestinian people.
The ministry spokesperson Haitham Abu Alfoul warned of the severe consequences of the Israeli escalation and terrorizing civilians, which would only increase tension and violence and deepen the environment of despair.
The only way to resolve the dilemma in Gaza is to find a real political horizon that fosters a return to serious and effective negotiations on the basis of the two-state solution, lift the siege on Gaza, address the humanitarian needs and respect the rules of international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy, Abu Alfoul said.
