Electrical loads on Thursday night reached 3,400 megawatts compared with a morning load of 2,980 megawatts, the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) announced on Friday.
NEPCO stressed that the power grid in the Kingdom is capable of enduring any electrical load expected and that there are plans already prepared to deal with extreme weather conditions such as the current heatwave.
