Public Security Directorate warns of hot weather conditions
The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Thursday warned people of the current heat conditions in Jordan, advising them to follow the safety guidelines issued by the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD).
In a statement, the CDD warned people against leaving sanitizers with highly flammable substances in vehicles, and warned parents not to leave their children in vehicles, or outside in the sun for too long.
The statement also advised people to stay hydrated and to wear light and loose-fitting clothes, and to avoid direct exposure to the sun.
The CDD called on people to call 911 in case of emergencies.
