Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Sunday met with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Cairo.
The meeting covered a number of areas of bilateral cooperation, following up on the outcomes of the 30th session of the Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee, which was held earlier this year to enhance economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance, Mohammad Al-Issis, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Shamali, Director General of the Customs Department, Jalal Qudah, and from the Egyptian side, Ministers of Finance, Transport, Trade and Industry and a number of senior officials.
