Royal Court Chief delivers lecture on royal initiatives
Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, on Saturday delivered a lecture on vision, mission and objectives of the royal initiatives.
Issawi, who is also head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal initiatives, said royal initiatives' objectives are to build on achievements and to reflect the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah in improving citizens quality of life in the targeted communities in partnership, cooperation and complementarity with the state's institutions.
He said that His Majesty, since assuming his constitutional responsibilities, has continued his one-on-one meetings with all segments of society in various regions, as improving citizens' quality of life is the top priority of His Majesty the King.
He pointed out that the royal initiatives are a true reflection of His Majesty's visions to ensure that gains and returns of development are equitably distributed among all regions, according to the characteristics and advantages of each region, in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable social and economic development, the direct impact of which is felt by the citizen.
At the end of lecture, held at the Jordan Society for Science and Culture, a presentation was made of models of the royal initiatives in terms of the nature and objectives of each initiative and the implementing partners. The presentation included initiatives of housing for poor families, empowering them and people with low income, establishing youth centers, sports club headquarters, and sports stadiums, tn addition to initiatives that cover all sector of society.
