NEPCO accumulated losses reach JD5.13 billion in 2021
The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on Sunday announced that its accumulated losses have amounted to JD5.13 billion in 2021, compared to JD4.98 billion in 2020, more than 75 per cent of the paid-up capital.
According to NEPCO’s yearly financial report, the company's losses in 2021 amounted to JD152.8 million, compared to JD61.7 million in 2020.
The report indicated that NEPCO’s current liabilities exceeded its current assets by JD3.5 billion.
