Fair weather forecast in highlands, hot in other regions
Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail on Sunday in the highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, with low-altitude clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Temperatures will rise few degrees on Monday, bringing relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, and hot weather in the other regions, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to bring in similar weather conditions, with northwesterly moderate to active winds at times, the department predicted.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Sunday will range between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 20C or even 17C in the northern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 40C and a low of 28C.
