Parliamentary delegation to partake in Baku's conference
A parliament delegation headed by Lower House Speaker Abdul Karim Dughmi will participate in Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network commencing Thursday, 30 June in Azerbaijan.
The delegation landed in the capital Baku on Tuesday, a lower house statement said on Wednesday.
The conference, titled 'Boosting the role of national parliaments in promoting global peace and sustainable development,' is scheduled to approve Baku's announcement regarding the Non-Aligned Movement's (NAM) methods of work, elect a president and three vice presidents for NAM, and approve its official flag and logo.
