Minister of Labor Nayef Istitieh on Tuesday met the Dutch Ambassador for Youth, Education, and Work Tijmen Rooseboom to discuss prospects of cooperation and coordination in many fields under the support of the two countries' leaders.
Istitieh highlighted cooperation areas available between the two countries, saying that Jordan is currently training its human resources in various fields to qualify for new job opportunities.
Istitieh and Rooseboom spoke about means of enabling youth by training them on skills they need to enter the labor market, mainly in vocational training and training on curricula development.
For his part, Rooseboom commended the level of the Jordanian-Dutch ties, stressing further collaboration with Jordan in many fields to serve the interests of the two countries' peoples.
His country, he noted, is committed to cooperating with the Kingdom in education and labor to empower youth and provide them with the skills required to join the labor market.
