Security campaign launched to detect water theft in Maan's Husienieh region
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate, implemented a security campaign meant to crack down on violations on the main water carrier supplying Maan's Husienieh region with drinking water.
The inspection teams have detected and addressed 21 violations at Husienieh and seven at Wadi Al Sir, according to a ministry statement on Monday reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The ministry also has implemented a campaign in Amman's Wadi al Sir, where seven five-inch pipelines used to illegally fill tanks were uncovered.
