Dry, hot weather to prevail countrywide until Tuesday-JMD
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Saturday, to become 6-7 degrees above their seasonal average and dry and blistering weather will prevail countrywide, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be occasionally active causing dust, especially in the Kingdom's southern and eastern regions, which leads to low horizontal visibility, the JMD added.
According to the JMD report, the weather until Tuesday will remain dry and searing countrywide, with dust especially in the Badia regions.
Also on Saturday, mercury in the capital Amman will range between 36 degrees Celsius during the day and a low of 18C, meanwhile the port city of Aqaba is expected to see a scorching 40C, dipping into 26C during night.
