Qatar lights up towers with Jordanian flag to celebrate Independence Day
Buildings in Doha, on Wednesday evening were lit up with the Jordanian flag in celebration of the Kingdom's 76th Independence Day.
Buildings were also lit up with Qatar's flag, and pictures of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as a show of the deep-rooted relations between the two countries.
Among buildings that were lit p with the Jordanian flag and decorated with pictures of His Majesty the King is the Sheraton Doha Hotel, which is constitute an icon of Doha’s towers and buildings and one of the most ancient and oldest, and is the official hotel of the state.
Pictures of the Jordanian flag and pictures of His Majesty the King also appeared on the famous Aspire Tower, also known as The Torch Doha, which is a modern skyscraper, in addition to a number of Lusail Smart City towers, which is considered the new administrative capital of Qatar.
