Temperatures forecast to rise four degrees above annual average on Thursday
Temperatures, on Thursday, are expected to rise 3 to 5 degrees above their annual average for this time of year, bringing relatively hot weather conditions in most parts of the Kingdom and hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the port city of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be northeasterly moderate, picking up at times and stirring dust in eastern and southern parts, the JMD added.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees at night.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 39 degrees, dropping to 24 degrees at night.
