Telecommunications Regulatory Commission discusses cooperation with SpaceX
Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission’s (TRC) board of commissioners Bassam Sarhan on Monday highlighted the commission's keenness to realise a real partnership with the private sector and all those wishing to invest in the Kingdom's telecommunications sector.
During a meeting with a delegation from SpaceX, a US company specialised in Internet services, Sarhan said that the Jordanian market is “promising”, as it can cope with advancements related to easing services’ provision, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Members of the guest delegation expressed willingness to provide services in the Jordanian market through launching a number of satellites, as the company operates a massive satellite network to provide global Internet coverage.
