In a phone call he made with his Egyptian counterpart, Mustafa Madbouly on Saturday evening, Khasawneh voiced Jordan's strong condemnation of the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a water pumping station east of the Suez Canal and killed and injured of a number of Egyptian soldiers.
Khasawneh underlined Jordan’s solidarity and unwavering support to Egypt and its efforts to confront terrorism and extremism.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the government and people of Egypt and the families of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
