Interior minister instructs release of 546 administrative detainees
Interior Minister, Mazen Faraiah, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, instructed the concerned authorities to release 546 administrative detainees, who are not involved in racketeering cases.
In a statement on Thursday, Faraiah said the decision came after examining the detainees' files and ensuring that their release would not pose a threat to the Kingdom's security and public order.
The decision also aims to give an opportunity to them to reengage in society, the statement added.
