Ministry condemns Israeli actions against Christians celebrating Holy Saturday
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday condemned Israeli actions restricting Christians' entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on the occasion of Holy Saturday.
Ministry's Spokesperson Haitham Abu Alfoul said all Israeli measures targeting the freedom of Christians in performing their rituals and limiting prayers' count are rejected and denounced.
He stressed that Israel, the occupying power, should respect the legal and historical status quo of Jerusalem and halt restricting measures on Christians.
