Queen Alia International Airport passenger traffic sees 251% growth last March-AIG
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) recorded an 251.3 percent year-on-year increase in passenger numbers during last March, travel data issued by the Airport International Group (AIG) on Wednesday, showed.
QAIA welcomed 561,425 passengers (PAX) during March 2022, while the airport witnessed 5,076 aircraft movements (ACM), an increase of 131.3%, compared to the same month last year, the AIG figures showed.
Meanwhile, QAIA handled 5,430 tons of cargo in March, an increase of 54.3%, compared to the same period last year, the AIG said.
