Saudi program to distribute dates and food baskets launched in Jordan, Mali
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Islamic Advisor Office at the country’s embassy in Amman, inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift project for distributing dates in Jordan during the blessed month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri, SPA reported.
Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi and the supervisor of the Office of the Islamic Advisor at the Saudi Embassy, Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Shehri, were present at the function.
The project aims at distributing dates for all components of Jordanian society, charities, and Syrian and Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan, according to SPA.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs also inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' program to distribute food baskets in Mali for the current Hijri year. The function was held at Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Bamako in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Mali Khalid Al-Khalid.
The program aims to distribute 315 food baskets, benefiting more than 1,200 individuals in the Malian capital, Bamako
