The first group of the mission of Her Majesty Queen Rania to perform Umrah in the holy month of Ramadan is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
The 550 female participants from all governorates of the Kingdom were selected from families of martyrs, retired military women, activists in community service, and beneficiaries of charitable and cooperative societies, civil society institutions and a number of young volunteers.
The mission will be split into four groups that will travel by plane, first and second groups will depart tomorrow and the day after tomorrow from the governorates of Amman, Irbid, Balqa, Mafraq, Tafileh, Ma'an and Aqaba.
The third and fourth groups will travel in mid April from the governorates of Karak, Madaba, Jerash, Zarqa and Ajloun.
Her Majesty will participate in one of the groups, to be decided later.
