Ammon News : Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan (CSS) denied media reports that US Ambassador to Jordan Henry Wooster had spoken about “our alliance with the deep state in Jordan” in his remarks on Tuesday before the Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the University of Jordan.

CSS said that the ambassador was talking about the “deep relations with the state” and that there was no reference to relations with a deep state.

An error in translation from English to Arabic may have prompted some of those attending to misunderstand the context. A number of websites had carried a news item that was published online by another website without checking the facts, CSS added.
