Amman on Monday hosted the meeting of the preparatory committee of the 17th joint Jordanian-Saudi Commercial Committee.
The meeting, headed by Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply Dana Zu’bi and Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Transport Mansour Al Turki, discussed issues aimed to enhance cooperation between the countries in all fields, mainly at an economic level, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Zu’bi said that the trade exchange volume between Jordan and Saudi Arabia in 2021 reached some $4 billion, including $1 billion of Jordanian exports and $3.2 billion of Saudi exports to the Kingdom, including oil.
Turki said that there is an opportunity to develop the level of economic cooperation between the kingdoms, and that committee discussions will contribute to boosting cooperation, trade exchange and joint investments.
