Oxygen supply at local hospital briefly disrupted, tanks to cover cut-off
The Prince Hussein Public Hospital suffered an oxygen supply disruption Thursday morning after a medical gas pipeline was accidentally damaged during expansion works, according to a Ministry of Health statement.
Responding to reports on patient transfers from the hospital, the ministry stated that only one coronavirus patient, who was hooked up to an oxygen machine, was transferred to the Gardens Hospital and arrived in good condition.
Other patients at the hospital were not affected by the disruption, the ministry said, assuring that it has sufficient supply of oxygen tanks to last until the pipeline is fixed.
