The opening ceremony at Al Ahliyya Amman University Hall featured a speech delivered by President of the Qatar Judo Federation Khalid Attiyah, in which he expressed his thanks to Jordan for hosting this tournament, stressing his full confidence in the preparations that took place.
President of the Jordan Judo Federation Ali Malhas welcomed all participating countries, wishing them a pleasant stay in Jordan.
In addition to Jordan, the tournament will witness the participation of 16 countries: The UAE, Djibouti, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Egypt, Yemen and Lebanon.
