Jordan, China to celebrate 45 years of relations in April
Jordan and China will next April celebrate diplomatic relations established 45 years ago.
In a press conference on Monday, a spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Amman commended ties and partnerships between the two nations.
He briefed the conference on the embassy's preparations for the occasion, including short films highlighting the evolution of Jordanian-Sino relations, a virtual reception and speeches by officials from both countries.
A Chinese film and series week will also be held, in addition to commercial activities and a seminar for businessmen to discuss the Belt and Road Initiative and cooperation in various fields, he noted.
China is the biggest commercial partner of Arab countries, he said, indicating that Jordanian-Chinese trade in 2021 reached $330 billion, up by 57 percent compared with previous years.
