Awqaf Minister, Mohammad Khalaileh, on Monday decided to end all forms of distancing during prayers in all mosques of the Kingdom.
The minister also decided to remove signs of distancing between worshipers, while maintaining conditions and requirements of public safety, especially wearing masks by worshipers when entering mosques and performing prayers.
At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the Awqaf Ministry, based on recommendations of the Governmental Epidemiology Committee, decided to enforce social distancing in mosques and wearing masks to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and preserve the health and safety of worshipers.
