In implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah II's directives, the Cabinet, in its session held Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, decided to disburse an amount of JD100 to families benefiting from the Monthly Cash Assistance Program provided by the National Aid Fund (NAF).
The Council of Ministers directed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Social Development to disburse the newly-announced aid cash 'immediately,' and make the necessary financial arrangements to secure the funds within the general budget.
A total of 107,000 households will benefit from this Royal cash grant, with an overall amount of nearly JD11 million, according to the NAF's data.
