Int'l oil derivatives prices rise in 4th week of February
The prices of oil derivatives in global markets have risen in the fourth week of February, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The ministry's figures showed that the price of 90-octane gasoline went up by 2.3 percent, going from $920.6 per ton in third week to $942 in the fourth week, while the price of 95-octane gasoline rose from $946.8 per ton to $971.6 per ton, an increase of 2.6 percent.
Diesel prices also increased by 2.4 percent going from $819.8 per ton to $839.4, while the prices of kerosene rose by 2.1 percent, from $848 to $865.9 per ton.
The prices of liquefied gas for February picked up by 8 percent, going from $717.5 to $775 per ton. Meanwhile, Benchmark Brent crude prices also rose in the fourth week of the current month, from $98.6 to $101.2 per barrel.
