Chairman of Jordan Motorsport HRH Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was elected on Monday as senate member of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for four years.
His Highness was one of four members elected to the FIA World Motor Sport Council in a run-off in December.
The other World Sport Council candidates, along with Prince Faisal, are: Portugual's Carlos Barbosa, Bulgarian Irina Bokova, Italian Guido Delbue, German August Markl, Paraguayan Hugo Mersan, Australian Elizabeth Perry, Argentinian Jorge Rosales, American George Silbermann, Australian Robert Slocombe, Venezuelan Vincenzo Spano, Czech Oldrich Vanicek and Chinese Zhan Guojun.
The senate, which houses 16 members including the president and vice presidents, is one of the key FIA bodies.
