Gov't extends fine, interest exemption to JCC loans beneficiaries
A Cabinet session, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, on Thursday decided to extend a fine, interest exemption to all Jordan Co-operative Corporation (JCC) debtors by 100%, in the event of paying back due amounts until the end of 2022.
The gov't decision aims to relieve JCC loans given to the corporation's members and farmers, as a result of circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic-induced repercussions.
On the other hand, the Council of Ministers decided to appoint Dr. Musa Ishtiwi as Chairman of the Economic and Social Council (ESC).
