Shura Council Speaker to Start Official Visit to Jordan on Wednesday
Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, heading a council delegation, on Wednesday is scheduled to start an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan upon an official invitation from Jordanian Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez, SPA reported.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Sheikh is planned to meet with several senior officials in Jordan. The Speaker of the Shura Council will hold a session of official talks with Al-Fayez and meet with Jordanian Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Al-Dughmi to discuss the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, means to support these ties in a way that serves joint interests, boost aspects of cooperation, parliamentary action and coordination between the Shura Council and the Jordanian Senate and Lower House, in addition to enhancing the work of joint parliamentary friendship committees, according to SPA.
The visit is part of deep-rooted relations that witness a continuous growth under the support and care of both Kingdoms’ leaderships.
