Ministry announces voluntary immunization drive for students
The Ministry of Education instructed schools to implement a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination drive for students as of January 23rd.
In a circular issued on Tuesday evening, the ministry noted that the campaign should be 'promoted on social media platforms or any other means that schools deem appropriate.'
A campaign had been launched in December of 2021 to vaccinate students and the educational staff with the aim of continuing in-person education in the second semester of the school year.
