Israeli occupation forces Tuesday staged a dawn raid into Birzeit University campus, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank and attacked guards.
The university said in a statement that troops imposed a military cordon at the entrances of the university, assaulted guards, ransacked offices of student blocs and confiscated their contents.

Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli occupation army carried out search-and-arrest raids in a number of cities and towns, and detained 16 Palestinians, sparking clashes with local youth in several locations.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club said the detainees were referred to security services on charges of resisting soldiers and Jewish settlers.
