PSUT professors named among best researchers in world
Prof. Ahmad Hiyasat from Princess Sumaya University for Technology’s (PSUT) Department of Computer Engineering at King Abdullah II School of Engineering has been selected for the list of the best 2 per cent of researchers worldwide, according to the updated database of scientific researchers for standardised citation metrics prepared by Stanford University and the international publishing house, Elsevier.
The classification for this list is based on the number of scientific papers published, the quality of the journals in which they were published, the number of citations of the researcher's work, and co-authorship, and other factors that can be found in the Scopus research databases, said a PSUT statement.
PSUT President Prof. Mashhoor Al Refai praised the researcher, expressing his hope that the number of PSUT researchers on this list would increase in the coming years.
Refai also congratulated Prof. Muhammad Al Azzeh, from PSUT’s Department of Data Science, King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, who was included on the list of the top 2 per cent of researchers in the world.
