Bahrain Labor Minister chairs CAMSA executive office session in Jordan
Bahrain Labor and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan chaired the 76th session of the executive office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs (CAMSA) in Jordan, on October 24-25, bna reported.
The Minister stressed the importance of strengthening joint Arab social development work, expressing the council's keenness to achieve social goals within the 2030 sustainable development plan, despite the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to bna.
The meeting discussed social issues in the Arab countries, and preparations for the 41st session of the CAMSA to be held in Riyadh on December.
It also reviewed initiatives and strategies to reduce social and humanitarian repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, and highlighted the efforts made by Bahrain to protect all members of society from the negative impact of the pandemic and its keenness to continue providing health and social services to citizens and residents
