The Customs Department at the Karama border crossing with Iraq on Tuesday thwarted an attempt to smuggle 25,000 medicine bottles, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a statement, the department said that the bottles were seized after suspicions were raised and the truck was exposed to an X-Ray machine where officials found 25,000 medicine bottles hidden inside the truck’s floor. The confiscated items were referred to relevant authorities.
