Ministry: Fresh, frozen chicken prices drop 23% in August
The prices of fresh and frozen chicken dropped by 23 percent in August compared to July, according to a study by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.
The study showed that the selling price of imported frozen chicken during the last month decreased by 18 percent compared to the month before, meanwhile local frozen chicken's price dropped by 23 percent in the same period.
The ministry confirmed that it monitors the prices of various commodities daily, especially the food ones to find out any changes in the prices.
