Lower House: use of drugs for the first time is not a crime
Jordan Lower House on Wednesday approved the draft law amending Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The Lower House approved imposing heavier penalties with regards to drug dealing to become at least one year imprisonment and a fine of at least two thousand JD.
The Lower House also approved that the use of drugs for the first time will not be regarded as a crime.
