Moreover, 4G networks' data speeds averaged 24.7 Mbps at the end of June this year, up from 21.8 Mbps recorded at the end of the same month last year, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) said in a statement.
The average speed of fixed broadband internet services rose to 65.4 Mbps by the of June, against 56 Mbps in the same reporting period of 2020, the TRC added.
