Jordanians, Arabs and foreigners wishing to temporarily bring in foreign-plated vehicles can now apply for temporary entry permits using a new e-service launched Tuesday by the Customs Department.
In a statement, the department said service recipients will be informed via an SMS of the status and result of their applications, and, in case of approval, will receive their vehicles' entry permits in an electronic format. It added that the new service eliminates the need to visit the department's offices.
