The Council of Ministers on Sunday endorsed the 2021 amended bylaw of civil judges.
The amendment is in implementation of the Royal Committee’s recommendations to develop the judiciary and enhance the rule of law, which included unifying all judicial allowances for civil judges to 120 per cent of the basic salary, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Cabinet also approved bylaws of salaries and allowances for administrative and faculty members at public universities, under which the university allowance is raised by JD30 to help improve the living conditions of university employees.
