Jordan will start administering a third COVID-19 vaccine shot for people who had received the 'Sinopharm' vaccine to enter certain countries that do not accept the Chinese vaccine.
Jordan's Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement Tuesday the designated centres that would offer a third vaccine jab would be the Balqa Applied University (BAU) vaccination centre on Wednesday and the Prince Faisal Gymnasium in Qweismeh vaccination centre on Thursday.
The MoH said vaccination would start from 9 am until 3 pm and highlighted people should first register with the MoH's official platform www.moh.gov.jo to receive the third shot of one of the accepted vaccines in the designated country, provided they present all necessary documentation at the vaccination centre.
It said the platform is still open for those who wish to receive the third jab.
