His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Nayef Al Hajraf, and discussed means to bolster cooperation and enhance the strategic partnership between Jordan and Gulf Arab countries.
The meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, covered the latest Arab and regional developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause and the developments in Jerusalem, with King Abdullah denouncing the aggressions against Jerusalemites during the holy month of Ramadan, and commending their resilience.
For his part, Secretary General Hajraf delivered best wishes from GCC leaders and peoples to His Majesty on the occasion of the Jordanian state’s centennial, commending the remarkable achievements of the Kingdom.
