Jordan, Lebanon discuss cooperation in transport sector
Jordan is seeking to find alternatives to overcome challenges facing the trucking sector at both local and regional levels, said Minister of Transport Marwan Al-Khaitan.
During a meeting on Tuesday with the charge d'affaires of the Lebanese Embassey Georges Fadel, the minister indicated that the Kingdom is considering effective solutions to facilitate movement across its borders, in line with the regional epidemiological situation.
The two officials also tackled means of boosting bilateral cooperation, mainly in the field of land transportation as well as transferring goods by Lebanese trucks, through Jordan, to the countries of the region.
