Ministry of Education on Saturday said that the return of the second group of 10th and 11th grade students to classrooms will be suspended for one week while these two grades will continue distance learning, in light of the current epidemiological situation, the high number of infections, and the rate of positive test results.
As for students of the first and second secondary grades, in addition to kindergartens who have returned to in-class learning since the beginning of the second semester, they will continue with in-class learning mixed with distance education according to the second semester plan for returning to schools and according to the developments of the epidemiological situation, which is subject to daily evaluation, especially in light of the mutated strain of the virus continued to spread, the ministry said in a statement.
The statement indicated that the daily evaluation will continue for all public and private schools to ensure compliance with the health protocol and return to schools requirements.
