China on Tuesday recorded 16 new imported COVID-19 cases, with no new local infections or deaths during the last 24 hours, according to the National Health Commission (NHC).
In a daily statement, the commission said that it had received reports of 89,788 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths on the Chinese mainland and in all 84,547 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, adding 'there are still 605 remained confirmed cases, including 10 cases in serious condition.'
