Hawatmeh meets heads of police, civil defence departments
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) aims at implementing the Royal visions related to improving the quality of security services, performance and coordination, PSD Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh said on Sunday.
During his meeting with heads and directors of police and civil defence, Hawatmeh conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, greetings, expressing the King’s pride in the police and civil defence personnel’s efforts towards safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and providing highest standard of services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Improving the PSD’s performance is a shared responsibility, he said, pointing out that the completion of merging has paved the way for upgrading and development, which included assessment of all aspects of services to ensure convenience for citizens.
He also added that leaders and directors are the base for putting the plans set in 2021 into action, for their ability to assess the needs of citizens through fieldwork and feedback.
