Police on Sunday arrested two suspects involved in stealing an ATM in Balqa. A Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said that the Balqa Police Department received information about anonymous people who stole an ATM placed inside a petrol station using a bulldozer and transferred it to an unknown destination, as the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The spokesperson added that the investigation teams were able to find the machine in a desolate area in Balqa and by examining it, it became “clear” that the thieves did not open it or steal any of the money inside.
Narrowing down the number of suspects, investigators identified two suspects and their whereabouts where they were raided and arrested. While being interrogated, one of the suspects confessed to their crime and investigations are still ongoing, according to the PSD spokesperson.
