IEC blocks candidates from using barcoded voter info cards
AMMONNEWS - The Independent Election Commission (IEC) has barred parliamentary candidates from using barcoded information cards which they claim they use to 'organize their communication with voters'.
An IEC spokesman said that the commission investigated and examined the issue and decided to ban the use such cards, adding that the ban is meant to prevent the misuse of these cards and avoid rumors and confusion during the electoral process.
