FM, S. Korean counterpart discuss regional developments
AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and his S. Korean counterpart Kang Kyung-wha held talks over the phone on Monday for a discussion on Jordanian-S. Korean ties and regional ties.
The coronavirus pandemic was not absent from the talks as the top diplomats reiterated both countries' solidarity in combating the novel virus; they expressed keenness to broaden bilateral ties in all fields.
The talks figured high on the effort exerted to settle regional developments and materialize peace and stability.
Safadi briefed Kyung-wha on the proceeding of last week's meeting of the foreign ministers of Egypt, France, Germany and Jordan, in the attendance of EU representatives. The meeting, which was hosted by the Kingdom, discussed finding a real prospect for launching negotiation on the bases of international law and the two-state solution to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
